The F 450 GS is powered by a new twin-cylinder inline engine, producing 47.34 bhp. Additionally, the German automaker has used lightweight materials like magnesium in the engine, thereby reducing the kerb weight to 175 kg. The bike is equipped with a fully adjustable upside-down (USD) fork front suspension along with a preload-adjustable rear monoshock, drawing on technology from rally and enduro sport.
Moreover, the F 450 GS Concept has a 19-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel. The production version of the bike is expected to have aluminium wheels which would reduce the weight further.
