2025 Ducati Panigale V2 Lineup Launched in India With New 890cc Engine
Ducati India has launched the 2025 Panigale V2 and V2 S, marking an update to its twin-cylinder sports motorcycle line. The new models replace the previous 959 and carry forward Ducati’s mid-weight superbike category with a new engine, chassis and electronics setup.
2025 Ducati Panigale V2: Engine
The 2025 Panigale V2 range is powered by an 890 cc, 90-degree V2 engine - the lightest twin-cylinder motor Ducati has produced so far, weighing 54.4 kg. The engine puts out 118.3 bhp at 10,750 rpm and 93.3 Nm of torque at 8,250 rpm. The V2 S variant weighs 175 kg (without fuel), while the standard V2 weighs 179 kg.
2025 Ducati Panigale V2: Design and Structure
The design follows the Panigale V4 family, with a full-LED headlamp setup and integrated DRLs. The bike features a monocoque frame that uses the engine as a stressed component and a double-sided swingarm. The V2 S gets Öhlins suspension components, while the standard V2 uses Marzocchi and Kayaba units. Both versions retain a compact, single-piece tail section.
2025 Ducati Panigale V2: Electronics and Rider Aids
Both models come equipped with a 6-axis IMU-based electronics suite, offering cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control, engine brake control and Ducati Quick Shift 2.0. The Panigale V2 also provides four riding modes: Race, Sport, Road and Wet. A new 5-inch TFT display presents essential riding information and settings.
2025 Ducati Panigale V2: Colours and Pricing
Both motorcycles are offered in Ducati Red. The Panigale V2 is a two-seater with a lead-acid battery, while the Panigale V2 S comes in a single-seater setup and uses a lithium battery.
