Ferrari Amalfi Spider Launched in India at Rs 4.6 Crore; Benefits from EU FTA, Costs Less Than Amalfi Coupe

Italian automaker Ferrari has today launched the Amalfi Spider in India at a starting ex-showroom price of Rs 4.6 Crore (without options). The Amalfi Spider joins the Amalfi coupe in the brand's India lineup and arrives in the country a few months after making its global debut in March 2026. The Ferrari Amalfi Spider is the open-top version of the Amalfi grand tourer, which replaced the Roma in the brand's global portfolio.

The Amalfi Spider largely retains the design of the coupe, with the electrically operated fabric roof being the most significant difference between the two models. The soft top can be opened or closed in 13.5 seconds and can be operated at speeds of up to 60 kmph.

Ferrari offers the roof in four colour options, while its five-layer construction is designed to keep noise levels inside the cabin close to those of a hard-top model. Wind deflectors integrated into the rear-seat backrests further help manage airflow when driving with the roof down.

Other exterior elements include 20-inch alloy wheels, LED lighting, quad exhaust outlets, a gloss-black rear diffuser and an active rear spoiler. The Spider is also available with the Rosso Tramonto exterior colour.

The cabin follows the same 2+2 seating configuration as the Amalfi coupe. The dashboard features a three-display setup comprising a 15.6-inch digital instrument cluster for the driver, a 10.25-inch central touchscreen infotainment system and an 8.8-inch display for the front passenger.

The equipment list includes powered sports seats, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, connected-car technology, automatic climate control and a wireless charging pad. The cabin also gets a three-spoke steering wheel with physical controls, curved air-conditioning vents and an aluminium-milled centre tunnel.

Ferrari offers a range of personalisation options for the upholstery, trim and colour combinations. The Amalfi Spider provides 255 litres of luggage capacity with the roof closed, which reduces to 172 litres when the soft top is stowed.

Powering the Ferrari Amalfi Spider is a 3.9L twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine producing 640 hp and 760 Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, which sends power to the rear wheels.

Ferrari claims that the Amalfi Spider can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 3.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 320 kmph. These figures are identical to those claimed for the coupe, despite the Spider weighing 86 kg more due to the folding roof mechanism.

The Amalfi Spider comes equipped with Level 2 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). Its driver-assistance package also includes adaptive cruise control, while the car carries over the electronic and active safety systems offered with the coupe.

The Ferrari Amalfi Spider is priced from Rs 4.6 crore (ex-showroom) in India. At its current price, the Spider currently costs around Rs 99 Lakh less than the Amalfi coupe, which is priced at Rs 5.59 Crore (ex-showroom). Ferrari dealerships in India have confirmed that the FTA price cut for the Amalfi Coupe have not come into effect yet but after FTA the prices of the Coupe version is expected to come down to Rs 4.09 Crore.
