Honda ADV160 E85 Flex-Fuel Scooter Launched in India at Rs 1.70 Lakh

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI), the two-wheeler division of the Japanese automaker has today launched the ADV160 scooter in India. The Honda ADV160 has been launched in India priced at Rs 1.70 lakh (ex-showroom). The ADV160 is a new adventure scooter and is Honda's first flex-fuel scooter for the Indian market. Honda claims that the ADV160 can run on fuel blends of up to E85. Sharing this update the company revealed that bookings for the same are now open with deliveries set to begin from mid-October 2026.

The Honda ADV160 is part of the company's recently announced 10-product portfolio and is aimed at creating a new category of adventure-scooter mobility in India. Along with its rugged styling, the scooter gets a liquid-cooled engine, TFT display with Honda RoadSync, turn-by-turn navigation and 27-litre under-seat storage.

The Honda ADV160 is priced at Rs 1.70 lakh (ex-showroom), bookings for the same can be made for an amount of Rs 5,000. Customers can book the scooter through the HMSI website or at authorised dealerships, with deliveries scheduled to commence from mid-October 2026.

The ADV160 gets an adventure-inspired design with a rugged stance. Honda says the scooter has been designed to handle rough city roads while also being suitable for weekend rides. One of its key practical highlights is the 27-litre under-seat storage capacity. This gives the ADV160 a combination of adventure-oriented styling and everyday practicality.

The new Honda adventure scooter gets a TFT instrument cluster with Honda RoadSync connectivity. The system also supports turn-by-turn navigation, adding connected technology to the ADV160's equipment list. The scooter also gets Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC). Braking hardware includes disc brakes at both ends, with a 1-channel ABS setup.

The Honda ADV160 is powered by a 156.93cc liquid-cooled engine. However, HMSI has not disclosed the engine's maximum power, peak torque or fuel-efficiency figures of this scooter yet. The biggest highlight of the powertrain is Honda's FlexTech technology. The ADV160 is compatible with fuel blends with up to 85 percent ethanol.

In terms of safety, the ADV160 gets disc brakes on both wheels and a 1-channel ABS system. Honda Selectable Torque Control is also part of the scooter's electronic equipment package.
