Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) reported a 24% year-on-year increase in total sales in September 2026. The company sold 7,06,266 two-wheelers during the month, compared with 5,68,164 units in the same month last year. Domestic sales accounted for most of the volume, while exports also recorded growth.

Honda Two-Wheeler Domestic Sales Grow 26%
HMSI sold 6,36,768 units in the domestic market in September 2026, registering 26% growth compared with 5,05,693 units sold in September 2025. The company also exported 69,498 units during the month. This was an 11% increase over the 62,471 units exported in September last year.
Overall, domestic sales made up the larger share of HMSI's September volume, with exports contributing around 69,498 units.
Honda Two-Wheeler H1 FY27 Sales Up 15%
Honda's sales also increased during the first half of the current financial year. Between April and September 2026, HMSI recorded total sales of 34.40 lakh units, up 15% from 29.93 lakh units sold during the corresponding period of FY26.
Domestic sales during H1 FY27 stood at 30.44 lakh units, compared with 26.82 lakh units in H1 FY26. This translates to a 13% year-on-year increase.
Exports saw a stronger increase during the six-month period. HMSI exported 3.96 lakh units in H1 FY27, up 27% from 3.11 lakh units during the same period last year.
