Lexus ES, NX, RX Get Flexible Ownership Plans In India, Here’s How it Works

Lexus India has launched the Smart Ownership Plan, aimed at providing customers with more flexibility in owning Lexus vehicles. The program allows customers to use a Lexus car without committing to long-term ownership and to pay through easy EMIs.

The plan includes an Assured Buyback option. At the end of the term, customers can choose to return the vehicle with no further obligations, retain it by paying a pre-agreed Guaranteed Future Value (GFV) or upgrade to a new model. The GFV is communicated upfront, giving clarity on resale value and avoiding depreciation-related concerns. The program is available for the Lexus ES, NX and RX models.

The plan also allows customers to upgrade their vehicle every three to five years. This option provides access to newer models with the latest technology, design and safety features.

Since its entry in India in 2017, Lexus has offered an 8-year/160,000 km vehicle warranty for all new models sold from 1st June 2024. In addition, Lexus India has introduced a flexible service package called Lexus Luxury Care, which offers Comfort, Relax and Premiere options for periods of 3 years / 60,000 km, 5 years / 100,000 km or 8 years / 160,000 km.

The Smart Ownership Plan, together with the extended warranty and service options, is part of the Lexus Promise initiative, designed to provide customers with structured ownership options and long-term vehicle support.
