Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq Edition Launched in India at Rs 11.45 Lakh with BaaS, Check Variant-Wise Pricing
Mahindra has introduced the BE 6 Sporteq Edition starting from Rs 19.45 lakh. This electric SUV is also being offered with Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model from Rs 11.45 lakh with a subscription cost of Rs 3.75 per/km.

Mahindra has launched the BE 6 Sporteq Edition in India with an introductory starting ex-showroom price of Rs 19.45 lakh. With the BaaS model the prices for the same start at Rs 11.45 lakh with a battery subscription of Rs 3.75 per kilometre (based on 60 km daily usage). Mahindra has introduced the BE 6 Sporteq Edition in multiple variants available with three battery pack options. The BE 6 Sporteq Edition is available in eight variants with deliveries scheduled to commence from August 26th 2026.

Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq: Features
In terms of features the BE 6 Sporteq Edition sports a new technology package based on Mahindra's MAIA (Mahindra Artificial Intelligence Architecture). It powers six TEQ Suites covering functions related to voice interaction, entertainment, driving, personalisation, security and tailgate messaging. The highlight is TEQ_Talk, built with Google Gemini. Mahindra says the system uses 17 specialised AI agents and supports more than 100 core functions and 48 apps, including vehicle controls, navigation, music and news. The BE 6 Sporteq also gets TEQ_Play, which includes karaoke, in-car gaming with BYOD support, private audio, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. TEQ_Drive adds Custom Drive Mode, Drift Mode and Tribe Drive.
From the Two variant onwards, the electric SUV gets a three-screen coast-to-coast digital cockpit. The Formula E Freedom Edition, however, retains the two-screen cockpit and signature halo design.
Mahindra to Extend New Features to Existing EV Owners
Mahindra has also confirmed that the BE 6 Sporteq's software-defined vehicle architecture will allow several of its new technology features to be introduced on existing vehicles. New software and technology features will be rolled out to existing BE 6, XEV 9e and XEV 9S owners through over-the-air updates in phases, starting January 2027. The exact features available will depend on the vehicle model and variant.
