Mini Cooper Oxford Edition Launched in India at Rs 55.50 Lakh; Gets Union Jack Styling
Mini India has introduced the Cooper Oxford Edition, priced at Rs 55.50 lakh, to commemorate 25 years of production at its Oxford plant. Limited in availability, this special edition features distinctive Union Jack designs.

Mini India has launched the Cooper Oxford Edition in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs 55.50 lakh. The special edition celebrates 25 years of modern Mini production at the brand’s Oxford plant in the UK. It is available in limited quantities and gets exclusive Union Jack-themed design elements, additional features and the same 204PS petrol engine as the Mini Cooper S. The car will be sold as a completely built-up unit (CBU), with bookings open across authorised Mini dealerships in India. Deliveries have commenced immediately.
Mini Cooper Oxford Edition: Design
The Mini Cooper Oxford Edition is based on the Cooper S 3-door and is available in two exterior colours: Indigo Sunset Blue and Chilli Red. Both colour options get a white contrast roof and white mirror caps.The special edition features Union Jack graphics on the roof, bonnet and boot. It also gets a crossed-flags sticker at the rear, combining the Union Jack with a chequered racing flag. The exterior package includes 18-inch Slide Spoke two-tone alloy wheels, Oxford-specific hub caps and Union Jack-themed valve caps.

Mini Cooper Oxford Edition: Cabin & Features
Inside, the Mini Cooper Oxford Edition gets JCW Sport Seats finished in black Vescin upholstery. The dashboard features a knitted textile finish in Favoured Beige and Grey, while the headliner is finished in Anthracite.The cabin also gets Union Jack-themed details on the steering wheel, floor mats, door entry sills and key cap. The special edition is equipped with a 240 mm circular OLED touchscreen display that supports the Mini infotainment system.

The infotainment system also supports voice commands through the Mini Intelligent Personal Assistant, which can be activated by saying “Hey Mini”. The car gets a fisheye interior camera that can capture photographs and videos inside the cabin.
Mini Cooper Oxford Edition: Powertrain & Performance
The Mini Cooper Oxford Edition is powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that produces 204PS and 300Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch Steptronic Sport automatic transmission. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in a claimed time of 6.6 seconds and has a top speed of 242 kmph. The Cooper Oxford Edition boasts a claimed fuel economy of 16.82 kmpl.The special edition also gets adaptive suspension and JCW Sport Brakes. Mini's Minimalism technology includes an automatic start-stop function, brake energy recuperation and electromechanical power steering.
Mini Cooper Oxford Edition: Safety
The Mini Cooper Oxford Edition gets Level 1 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). The package includes front collision warning, lane departure warning, an attentiveness assistant, speed warning and reversing assistant.Other safety features include:
