Mini and Paul Smith have introduced a new special edition that continues their ongoing collaboration. The MINI Paul Smith Edition was revealed on October 29, 2025, at the Japan Mobility Show in Tokyo. This edition will be available for the Mini Cooper 3-door, 5-door and Convertible models, excluding the John Cooper Works variants.

Design With a British Influence
The MINI Paul Smith Edition features a mix of traditional and modern design elements. It comes in three exterior paint options: Statement Grey, Inspired White and Midnight Black Metallic. Two of these shades are exclusive to this edition.
Mini Paul Smith Edition
Accents finished in Nottingham Green, a nod to Paul Smith’s hometown, appear on the side mirrors, grille and wheel hub covers. The same colour is used on one of the two available roof designs. The alternative roof features black stripes in matte and gloss finishes. All versions get 18-inch black alloy wheels and specially designed MINI logos in Black Blue.
Interior Details and Finishes
Inside, the cabin features dark knitted surfaces and striped patterns inspired by Paul Smith fabrics. The Nightshade Blue sports seats combine Vescin upholstery with knitted inserts. Colourful stitching on the steering wheel adds a subtle reference to the designer’s signature stripe pattern.

The round central display includes three Paul Smith-themed background options, while unique interior touches - such as a “Hello” light projection and a “Every day is a new beginning” message on the door sills - reflect the designer’s playful approach.
