Nissan has globally launched the Tekton SUV in India, priced at an introductory ex-showroom rate of Rs 10.49 lakh. Bookings for the Tekton are now open and deliveries are set to begin from July 20th 2026.

The Nissan Tekton SUV has made its global debut in India today. Along with its global debut the automaker has launched the Tekton in the country with an introductory starting ex-showroom price tag of Rs 10.49 lakh. Bookings for the Tekton are now open and deliveries for the same are scheduled to begin from July 20th 2026. Today Nissan India also revealed that this SUV will be made in India for the world, clearing the export ambitions for this SUV. The Tekton will be produced at the company’s Chennai facility in Tamil Nadu.

The Nissan Tekton has been launched in an ex-showroom price range of Rs 10.49 to Rs 18.59 lakh. It is available in 6 variants - Visia, Visia+, Acenta, N-Connecta, Tekna and Tekna+. Here are the detailed variant-wise prices of the Nissan Tekton:

Nissan Tekton: Design
Drawing inspiration from the global Nissan Patrol, the Tekton features a bold front fascia with C-shaped LED daytime running lights integrated into the headlamp setup and a full-width LED light bar. The rear follows a similar design theme with connected LED tail-lamps spanning the width of the tailgate.
Nissan says the double C-shaped design element on the front fender is inspired by the Himalayan region, as well as the name Tekton takes inspiration from the tectonic plates under the Himalayas. The SUV also gets squared wheel arches, a muscular stance and an upright profile in line with its segment positioning. The Tekton is being offered in 11 colour options including 6 monotone and 5 dual-tone options.
Nissan Tekton: Cabin & Features
Nissan has introduced the Tekton with four interior themes. The Tekton comes equipped with features like a touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, panoramic sunroof, rear AC vents, 360-degree camera, built-in Google with Gemini and playstore, intelligent cruise control, electric tailgate, fly-by-wire E-Shifter, electronic parking brake, wireless charging with cooling, 360-degree camera, traffic sign recognition, Connected car features and more.
Nissan Tekton: Powertrain
The Nissan Tekton gets two engine options. The Tekton comes with a 1.0L turbo petrol engine producing 98.63bhp and 166Nm of torque; this engine is paired with a 6-speed MT. The other engine on offer is a 1.3L turbo-petrol engine producing 160.77bhp and 280Nm of torque; this engine is available with 6-speed MT and 6-speed DCT options.
Nissan Tekton: Safety
The Nissan Tekton comes equipped with active and passive safety features like Level-2 ADAS, 6-airbags, 360-degree camera, front & rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD and more. The Tekton also boasts 5-star Bharat NCAP safety ratings.
