Range Rover Sport SV Launched in India at Rs 2.05 Crore; Deliveries to Begin from August
The new Range Rover Sport SV has been launched in India with a starting ex-showroom price tag of Rs 2.05 Crore. The new variant joins the brand’s performance-focused SV lineup as a more accessible alternative to the previously introduced SV Edition Two, while continuing with the same V8 mild-hybrid powertrain and chassis technology. Bookings for the SUV are now open across authorised JLR dealerships, with deliveries scheduled to begin from August 2026.
This launch also comes shortly after JLR India revised pricing for select Range Rover SV models ahead of the India-UK Free Trade Agreement implementation.
Range Rover Sport SV: Design & Features
In the Indian market the Range Rover Sport SV has been introduced with a curated range of exterior paint finishes including Green Satin, Orange Matte, Blue Gloss, Violet Matte and Teal Gloss. The exterior package also includes a contrasting black roof and 22-inch forged alloy wheels. Other design highlights include SV badging, quad exhaust outlets, revised bumpers, blacked-out exterior elements and a prominent rear spoiler. Unlike the SV Edition Two, the standard Sport SV does not get components such as 23-inch carbon-fibre wheels, carbon ceramic brakes or forged carbon trim pieces.
Inside the cabin, the Range Rover Sport SV gets Light Cloud and Ebony Windsor leather upholstery along with an extended leather package. The SUV also comes equipped with Body and Soul Seats, illuminated SV-branded treadplates, a Meridian Signature audio system and a sliding panoramic sunroof.
Range Rover Sport SV: Powertrain
The Range Rover Sport SV is powered by a 4.4L twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine paired with mild-hybrid technology. The powertrain produces 626bhp and 750Nm of torque and is paired with an automatic transmission driving all four wheels.
Land Rover claims the SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 3.8 seconds, making it the quickest Range Rover Sport introduced in India so far.
The Range Rover Sport SV comes equipped with the brand’s 6D Dynamics suspension system featuring a hydraulically interconnected setup designed to manage pitch and body roll during braking, acceleration and cornering while maintaining ride comfort.
