The Indian division of the Czech automaker Skoda has launched the Kodiaq RS SUV in India with an ex-showroom price tag of Rs 66.99 lakh. The Kodiaq RS is the first SUV from Skoda in India to bear the RS badge. The RS iteration of the Skoda cars are more performance-focused and the Kodiaq RS takes the brand’s performance lineage forward in the domestic market.
Skoda Kodiaq RS: Bookings
Skoda has introduced the Kodiaq RS in India via the completely built-up unit (CBU) route. The automaker commenced bookings for the same in India on June 22nd 2026 and within six minutes of kicking open the bookings, the first batch of 50 units of this performance SUV were sold out. We anticipated the automaker to reveal information on the second batch of this SUV at launch but the brand is yet to offer an update.

Skoda Kodiaq RS: Price & Variant
Skoda has introduced the Kodiaq RS in the Indian market in a single variant priced at Rs 66.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
Skoda Kodiaq RS: Powertrain & Drivetrain
The Skoda Kodiaq RS houses a 2.0L TSI four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine producing 261bhp and 400Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 7-speed DSG and an all-wheel-drive (AWD) system. In comparison to the standard Kodiaq sold in India, the RS develops an additional 60bhp and 80Nm of torque. Skoda claims this SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 6.3 seconds and has a top speed of 231 kmph.
Skoda Kodiaq RS: Design & Features
The Kodiaq RS features several design changes over the regular SUV. It gets a gloss-black grille, blacked-out ORVMs and window surrounds, RS-specific front and rear bumpers, 20-inch alloy wheels, red brake calipers and dual exhaust outlets.
On the inside, the SUV comes with an all-black cabin theme complemented by red contrast stitching and RS branding. The front seats feature integrated headrests, while the three-row seating layout has been retained.
The feature list includes a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, dual wireless phone chargers, panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, connected car technology, three-zone climate control and multiple 'Simply Clever' storage solutions.
Skoda Kodiaq RS: Safety
On the safety front, the Kodiaq RS comes equipped with multiple airbags, electronic stability control, tyre pressure monitoring system, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), along with several electronic driver aids available on the standard Kodiaq.
