With just a day left for its official debut, Tata Motors has revealed more details about its much-awaited Sierra EV through a new teaser video. This time, the focus is on the electric SUV’s cabin, giving a closer look at its interior design, features and some key technology highlights ahead of its launch on June 30.
The latest teaser confirms that the Tata Sierra EV will come with a feature-packed cabin, including a new black and white interior theme, a triple-screen dashboard layout and a dedicated boost mode function.
Tata Sierra EV To Get Boost Mode And 530km Claimed Range
One of the biggest highlights revealed in the teaser is the boost mode, which will be controlled through a button placed on the centre console. When activated, the change will be displayed on the driver’s screen.
The teaser also shows the electric SUV displaying a range of 424km at 80 per cent battery charge, suggesting that the Sierra EV could offer a claimed range of around 530km on a full charge.
The top-spec version is expected to come with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive (AWD) setup, producing up to 500 Nm of torque. Tata is likely to use the same 75kWh battery pack that is currently offered with the Harrier EV.
Tata Sierra EV: Interior and Features
The upcoming electric SUV will come loaded with premium features. The teaser confirms a large single-piece display setup with multiple screens, including a digital driver’s display and infotainment screen.
Other confirmed features include: Panoramic sunroof, Heads-up display (HUD), Two-spoke multifunction steering wheel with illuminated Tata EV logo, Multi-level regenerative braking modes, Six customisable terrain modes, Adjustable front headrests and Auto-dimming IRVM.

Tata Motors is expected to offer the Sierra EV with a comprehensive safety package, making it one of the better-equipped SUVs in its segment.
The electric SUV could come with features such as six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), a 360-degree camera, Level-2 ADAS technology, front and rear parking sensors, auto headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, ISOFIX child seat mounts, an electronic parking brake with auto hold function and all-wheel disc brakes.

Tata Sierra EV: Price and Rivals
Tata Motors has confirmed that the Sierra EV will be offered with an all-wheel-drive system, while full powertrain details are expected to be revealed closer to launch.
The electric SUV is expected to be priced above Rs 15 lakh (ex-showroom). Tata could also introduce a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) option, which may help reduce the initial purchase price.
Once launched, the Tata Sierra EV will compete with models such as the Hyundai Creta Electric, Maruti Suzuki e Vitara, Mahindra BE 6, MG ZS EV, VinFast VF7 and Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella.
The Sierra EV will be among Tata Motors’ upcoming range of new electric vehicles as the company continues expanding its EV portfolio in India.
