New-Gen Jeep Compass SUV Teased: All You Need To Know

The third-generation Jeep Compass has officially been revealed by Stellantis Northamerica. The silhouette suggests that the third-generation Jeep Compass has adopted a sharper, more futuristic design. The once-rounded elements are now more angular, giving the SUV a stronger street presence. The front and rear lighting have undergone changes, with rectangular wraparound tail lamps replacing the current soft-edged ones. The third-generation Jeep Compass will first Debut in Europe in 2025 with production in Melfi, Italy, and then it will expand to North America and globally in 2026.

On the interior, the sporty exterior design is expected to influence updates to the dashboard, center console and other areas. The second-generation Compass offers several premium features, such as a 10.1-inch touchscreen, wireless charging, ventilated leather seats and dual-zone automatic AC. These features are expected to continue, possibly with some upgrades. The side profile is expected to get pronounced fenders and a streamlined design. A floating roof effect is also expected.

The third-generation Compass will be built on Stellantis' STLA Medium platform, which is also used in the production of other Brnads owned by stellantis group such as the Peugeot 3008 and Opel Grandland. This platform can supports multiple powertrain options that includes internal combustion engines (ICE), plug-in hybrids, mild hybrids and fully electric variants. The third-generation Compass will come with a four-wheel-drive option.

While the second-generation Jeep Compass will remain on sale in India until 2026, plans for the third-generation model have been canceled due to concerns about commercial viability. Jeep is focusing on other products for the Indian market, such as the next-generation Renegade, which is expected to arrive in 2027. Key competitors will include popular compact SUVs like Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, and Kia Seltos.
