Ola Electric Motorcycle Launching Today In India: What To Expect

The new Ola electric bike, a naked street model, will carry forward some design elements from the S1 e-scooter, including the LED headlight with an LED DRL strip. The front design appears sleek and modern, with a conventional telescopic fork.

The bike features a muscular tank, possibly integrating turn indicators, along with hollow side panels and a single-piece seat with red stitching. The handlebar seems designed for comfort, likely providing a good turning radius for city commuting. Ola has also hinted at the bike having the largest battery in its segment, promising a superior range compared to competitors.

In terms of features, the bike is expected to include a touchscreen display with Bluetooth connectivity and navigation, electronic ABS and a chain final drive.

As the launch approaches, Ola has revealed more design details, including a headlamp cluster with horizontally arranged LED lights and vertically oriented turn indicators. A body-colored cowl might also be included, possibly serving as a windscreen. The bike is expected to have a TFT screen with features like Bluetooth connectivity, navigation and notification alerts. The teaser also shows a 'lever' on the left handlebar, which could function as either a rear brake or a clutch for gear operation. Additionally, the rims have red stripes, adding a stylish touch to the overall design.

Previously, Bhavish Aggarwal, the founder and CEO of Ola Electric, confirmed that the bike will feature the largest battery pack in its segment, hinting at an extended range on a single charge. This new Ola Electric bike is expected to compete with the Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2.
