Mahindra Thar 5-Door And 7 More Cars Are Coming To India Till Upcoming Independence Day

Mahindra will debut the 5-door version of Thar on August 15, 2024. According to the recently leaked shots of the 5 door Thar, it will get a refreshed front fascia. It is expected to have three engine choices: an entry-level 1.5 L diesel engine, a 2.2 L diesel, or a 2.0 L petrol unit, along with options for manual and automatic transmission.

The Nissan X-Trail is expected to arrive in India as a CBU by the end of July or in the first week of August. This SUV will be a limited edition, it will come equipped with a 1.5 L, three cylinder turbocharged petrol engine producing 201 bhp and 305 Nm of torque.

BMW will launch the updated 5 Series sedan on 24th July 2024. The 5 Series LWB sold in China features 4-zone climate control, quilted upholstery, and a dual-tone design. It includes a 31.1-inch fold-down display with 8K resolution and 5G compatibility and more. Many of these features are expected in the India-spec model as well.

The Mini Cooper S, will enter the Indian market on 24th July 2024. The updated model will feature a 2.0 L, four cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, producing around 201 bhp and 300 Nm of torque.

Mini is also set to introduce the electric version of its Countryman SUV on the 24th July 2024. Mini offers two electric powertrain options for the Countryman globally. There is a single-motor, front-wheel-drive version with 201 bhp and 250 Nm, and a dual-motor, AWD version with 309 bhp and 494 Nm. It is still unknown which of these options will be available here.

The Mercedes-Benz CLE Cabriolet will make its debut on 8th August 2024. While Mercedes-Benz has not confirmed the engine options for the CLE in India, but globally CLE range starts with a 2.0 L four-cylinder petrol engine, available in two versions: the CLE 200 and the CLE 300 4Matic. Then there is also the CLE 450 4Matic, which has a 3.0 L six-cylinder petrol engine and a diesel option, the CLE 200d, with a 2.0 L engine.

Mercedes-Benz is also bringing the GLC 43 4MATIC Coupe to India in August 2024. This SUV will feature C43 AMG's 2.0 L, four-cylinder turbo-petrol with mild-hybrid tech that produces 415hp and 500Nm of torque. The GLC 43 is expected to be launched in an ex-showroom price range of Rs 96 lakh to Rs 1.15 crore.

Lamborghini’s Urus SE will arrive in India on 9th August 2024. This special edition of the Urus SUV will feature a 4.0 L V8 engine and electric motor, delivering out combined power of over 788 bhp and 800 Nm of torque. The company’s current lineup includes three versions of this SUV, i.e. the Urus S, the Urus Performante and the Urus SE. The company first unveiled the pre-production version of the Urus SUV back in 2017 and soon entered production in early 2018.
