2026 Kia Seltos India Launch Tomorrow: All You Need to Know

Kia India is set to announce the variant-wise prices of the 2026 Seltos tomorrow, January 2, 2026. Production of the updated SUV has already commenced at Kia’s Anantapur manufacturing facility in Andhra Pradesh.

The second-generation Seltos features a revised exterior based on Kia’s current design language. At the front, the SUV gets a wider grille, vertically aligned LED daytime running lights, and updated headlamp units. The side profile includes flush-type door handles and new alloy wheel designs.At the rear, the SUV uses connected LED tail lamps with an inverted L-shaped layout, with the number plate now placed on the bumper. The 2026 Seltos measures 4,460 mm in length and 1,830 mm in width. The wheelbase is 2,690 mm, which is 80 mm longer than the outgoing model.

On the inside, the 2026 Seltos shares several elements with the Kia Carens Clavis. The dashboard layout includes dual 12.3-inch screens for the instrument cluster and infotainment system, along with a separate climate control panel. Other changes include a new three-spoke steering wheel and a revised centre console.

The feature list includes dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, head-up display, connected car technology, ambient lighting and a Bose audio system. The SUV also supports over-the-air updates, smartphone-based Digital Key 2 and an in-built AI assistant. In terms of safety features it gets six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, hill-start assist, and Level-2 ADAS, depending on the variant.

The 2026 Seltos continues with three engine options:

Transmission options include a six-speed manual, CVT, iMT, seven-speed DCT, and a six-speed automatic, depending on the engine. Kia has not confirmed any hybrid powertrain for the Indian market.
