2026 Maruti Suzuki Brezza Bookings Open Ahead of India Launch on July 24
Maruti Suzuki has today kicked open the bookings for the upcoming Brezza SUV ahead of its India launch. The 2026 Maruti Suzuki Brezza is scheduled to launch in the country on July 24th 2026. Bookings for the same have been open for an amount of Rs 11,000.
2026 Maruti Suzuki Brezza: What to Expect?
The 2026 model year Brezza is expected to be introduced with several updates. This is anticipated to be a mid-cycle facelift rather than a generation change. Maruti Suzuki is likely to introduce a new powertrain option with the Brezza. Keeping up with the competition, the company is likely to introduce a turbocharged petrol powertrain with the upcoming update. According to multiple media reports the 2026 Brezza can get the 1.0L 3-cyl turbo-petrol engine from the automaker. This engine is also offered in the Fronx and was earlier also offered in the Baleno RS, however it is expected to get a different tune for the Brezza.
Most of the Brezza rivals like the Nexon, Venue, Sonet, Kylaq, Syros and others have a power output ranging between 108bhp to 118bhp (110PS to 120PS). The upcoming Brezza can sport a tune in this power band. This turbocharged petrol engine option can also be paired with an automatic transmission for the first time with this update in the domestic market.
Maruti Suzuki introduced the revolutionary underbody CNG technology with the Victoris and since Brezza is one the most important nameplates in the country for the company, it can also get the underbody CNG. The addition of this technology frees up essential boot space further enhancing the appeal of a CNG vehicle to a wider group of customers.
Other notable additions to the Brezza can include a redesigned dashboard with new infotainment system and a digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, revised front & rear bumpers, tweaks to the headlight design and a redesigned front grille. Since safety has taken centre stage in this day and age, the higher trims of the upcoming model can also get Level-2 ADAS.
