In October 2025, Bajaj Auto led India's electric two-wheeler market with 31,168 units sold, experiencing a 10% year-on-year growth. TVS Motor and Ather Energy followed, with sales of 29,484 and 28,061 units, respectively. Ather saw a remarkable 73% increase, while TVS faced a slight decline. Ola Electric's sales plummeted by 62%. Other notable performers included Hero MotoCorp, Greaves Electric, and Pur Energy, each achieving significant year-on-year gains. Simple Energy also reported its best delivery month.

Bajaj Auto led India’s electric two-wheeler market in October 2025, followed by TVS Motor Co and Ather Energy. As per Vahan data, overall industry sales reflected mixed trends, with several brands recording strong year-on-year growth while a few saw declines.
Bajaj Auto secured the top position among electric two-wheeler manufacturers in October 2025. They managed to sell 31,168 units reflecting a Year-on-Year (Y-O-Y) increase of 10% when compared to 28,442 units sold in October 2024. TVS Motor ranked second with 29,484 units reflecting a slight Y-o-Y decline of 3% when compared to 30,247 units sold in October 2024.
Ather Energy ranked third with 28,061 units sold in October 2025 reflecting a Y-o-Y increase of 73% when compared to 16,248 units sold in October 2024. Ola Electric slipped to number 4 in October 2025 sales, they managed to sell 16,034 units reflecting a Y-o-y decline of 62% when compared to 41,843 units sold in October 2024. This is one of the largest year-on-year drops among the top 10 manufacturers.
Hero MotoCorp sales number for October 2025 stood at 15,934 units reflecting a Y-o-Y increase of 117% when compared to 7,355 units sold in October 2024.
Steady Gains for Other E2W Makers
Greaves Electric sold 7,629 units in October 2025 reflecting a Y-o-Y increase of 91% when compared to 3,990 units sold in October 2024.
Bgauss Auto recorded 2,932 units reflecting a Y-o-Y increase of 45% when compared to 2,023 units sold in October 2024.
Pur Energy, the maker of Pure EV scooters, saw one of the highest jumps among the top 10 manufacturers, by selling 1,706 units reflecting a Y-o-Y increase of 409% when compared to 335 units sold in October 2024.
River Mobility sold 1,601 units reflecting a Y-o-Y increase of 333% when compared to 370 units sold in October 2024.
Revolt Motors completed the top ten list with 1,345 units, marking a 41% growth from 955 units sold in October 2024.
Odysse Electric sold 1125 units in October 2025 reflecting a Y-o-Y increase of 148% when compared to 453 units sold in October 2024.
Simple Energy sold a total of 1,050 electric two-wheelers in October 2025. According to data from the Vahan portal, 974 units were registered across India, excluding Telangana, where an additional 76 units were sold. The company stated that October marked its best month in terms of deliveries so far.
