Bajaj Records Growth of 3 Percent Driven By Pulsar, Chetak and More

Indian automaker, Bajaj recently announced that the company recorded a three percent year-on-year growth in the domestic market to 3.14 lakh units in October 2025 from 3.03 lakh units sold in the same period last year. In addition to that, the Indian automaker’s total sales grew by approximately 8 percent to 5.18 lakh units from 4.79 lakh units in October 2024.
Moreover, the company witnessed a growth of four percent to 2.66 lakh units in October 2025. Notably, exports grew by 11 percent to 1.75 lakh units in the same month. Not only that, but the total two-wheeler sales of the company stood at 4.42 lakh units, a growth of seven percent.
Additionally, the company’s total sales grew to 29.23 lakh units, growing by four percent. In addition to that, exports grew to 12.33 lakh units, marking a growth of approximately 20 percent. However, the company witnessed a decline in domestic sales of five percent to 16.89 lakh units.
This comes as a result of the recent GST reform, along with festive season consumer sentiment, with discounts offered by the company. The GST reforms have lowered the tax amount consumers have to pay on bikes with 350cc engines.
The development follows the approval Bajaj received from the Austrian Takeover Commission, stating that Bajaj Auto International Holdings B.V., a wholly owned subsidiary of Bajaj Auto Limited, can proceed with acquiring control of Pierer Bajaj AG. The decision recognises the move as a restructuring exercise under Austrian takeover law and exempts BAIH from making a mandatory takeover offer to shareholders of Pierer Mobility AG.
