Ducati has introduced a new Ducati Yellow color option for its Panigale V2 S, providing a vibrant alternative to the traditional red finish without altering the bike's mechanics.
Ducati Panigale V2 S Gets New Yellow Colour Option, Priced at Rs 21.86 Lakh
Ducati has given its Panigale V2 S a fresh visual update with a new Ducati Yellow colour option, offering buyers a brighter alternative to the brand’s iconic red paint scheme. While the new shade adds a sportier and more distinctive appeal to the superbike, there are no mechanical changes underneath.
Key Highlights:
- Panigale V2 S gets a fresh Ducati Yellow paint scheme alongside the existing Ducati Red.
- The new Yellow version costs around Rs 33,000 more than the standard Red variant.
- The superbike continues with the 890cc liquid-cooled V-twin engine producing 120bhp and 93.3Nm.
The new Ducati Panigale V2 S Yellow is priced at Rs 21.86 lakh (ex-showroom), making it around Rs 33,000 more expensive than the standard Ducati Red version. The price difference is only for the exclusive paint finish, with no additional features or equipment added.
The yellow colour holds a special place in Ducati’s racing history, although red remains the company’s signature shade. With this new finish, the Panigale V2 S gets a more aggressive road presence while retaining its sharp aerodynamic design, compact proportions and sporty bodywork. Apart from the paint, there are no changes to the graphics or styling elements.
No Mechanical Changes To The Panigale V2 S
The Panigale V2 S continues to use the same 890cc liquid-cooled V-twin engine, producing 120bhp at 10,750rpm and 93.3Nm of torque at 8,250rpm. While the power output is lower compared to the previous-generation model, Ducati has focused on reducing weight and improving overall riding dynamics.
The latest-generation Panigale V2 S is around 17kg lighter than its predecessor, which helps improve handling, braking performance and agility. The lighter weight is expected to make the motorcycle more enjoyable on twisty roads and race tracks, where quick direction changes and rider confidence matter the most.
Premium Suspension And Advanced Electronics Continue
The ‘S’ variant remains the more performance-focused version of the Panigale V2 range. It gets fully adjustable Ohlins suspension at the front and rear, replacing the Marzocchi front fork and Kayaba rear monoshock used on the standard Panigale V2.
The bike continues with 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tyres, offering a balance of road usability and track-focused performance.
On the electronics front, the Ducati Panigale V2 S comes loaded with a comprehensive suite of features designed to enhance performance and rider confidence. It gets multiple riding modes along with Ducati Traction Control, Wheelie Control and Engine Brake Control for improved control in different riding conditions. The motorcycle also features a bi-directional quickshifter for faster gear changes and a TFT instrument console offering three display layouts - Road, Road Pro and Race - allowing riders to choose a setup based on their riding style.
With the introduction of the Ducati Yellow colour, the Panigale V2 S now gives buyers another styling option without changing the motorcycle’s core formula. The update may be limited to aesthetics, but the new shade adds a dramatic racing-inspired character to Ducati’s middleweight superbike while keeping its performance-focused DNA intact.
