Hyundai Tucson N Line Debuts at 2026 Paris Motor Show: What's New

Hyundai has officially introduced the N Line variant of its new-generation Tucson at the 2026 Paris Motor Show. Arriving just over a month after the debut of the standard model, this new trim focuses on delivering a more aggressive visual identity rather than mechanical performance enhancements, aligning with the manufacturer's established strategy for its N Line range.
The exterior of the Tucson N Line receives several bespoke design elements intended to provide a sportier aesthetic. The front fascia is distinguished by a revised bumper finished in black, complemented by a chin spoiler and aero ducts featuring a satin-black finish. Along the sides, the vehicle showcases exclusive 20-inch alloy wheels and body-coloured cladding on the lower doors, which is notably slimmer than the cladding found on the standard Tucson model. The rear profile is updated with a redesigned bumper in a black-and-grey finish, paired with chrome-tipped dual exhaust outlets. Subtle branding touches, including blacked-out badging and strategically placed N Line emblems, complete the exterior package.

Hyundai Tucson N Line: Cabin

Inside the cabin, the N Line variant adopts an all-black theme accented by contrasting red stitching across the dashboard, door panels, and seating surfaces. Further interior highlights include red accents integrated into the air conditioning vents, a dedicated N Line steering wheel, and seats upholstered in a combination of suede and leather featuring N branding. The cabin is finished with functional additions such as metal pedals and N Line-branded scuff plates.
Regarding technology and comfort, the N Line retains the comprehensive equipment list of the standard Tucson. Notable features include a 17-inch infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, and a 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system. Passengers benefit from powered, massaging front seats, sliding and reclining rear seats, and ambient lighting. Connectivity and convenience are supported by over-the-air (OTA) updates, an AI assistant, dual 15W wireless chargers, and two 100W Type-C charging ports for the second row. The vehicle also includes a digital interior rearview mirror and a full suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

Hyundai Tucson N Line: Powertrain

Mechanically, the Tucson N Line remains identical to the base model, offering the same three powertrain configurations. The entry-level option is a 1.6-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 150hp, available with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) equipped with a 48V mild-hybrid system.
For those seeking higher output, the strong-hybrid variant pairs the 1.6-litre turbo-petrol engine with a 1.49 kWh battery, resulting in a combined output of 245hp and 380Nm of torque. The range-topping plug-in hybrid (PHEV) model utilizes a larger 17.1 kWh battery pack and an electric motor, delivering a combined 292hp and 380Nm of torque.
