Mahindra Registers 23 Percent Growth in Car Sales for December 2025

Indian automaker Mahindra has steadily cemented its position among the top automakers in the country. This gradual and consistent growth for Mahindra has been worked out over the last few years. Mahindra’s new age SUVs have been the cornerstone of this growth. In the last five to seven year period, Mahindra has introduced notable popular products like the new gen Thar, Thar Roxx, XUV700, XUV 3XO and Scorpio-N. These new age SUVs along with its existing popular models like Bolero and Scorpio have put Mahindra in a solid position in the Indian domestic market.

Now Mahindra has shared its sales data for December 2025 which has revealed that the company managed to sell over fifty thousand units of passenger vehicles in the Indian market last month.

The sales data shared by Mahindra for December 2025 outlines that it managed to sell 50,946 units of passenger vehicles domestically in the Indian market. This sales figure represents a year-on-year growth in monthly domestic passenger vehicles sales by 9,522 units which further translates into 22.98 percent growth in year-on-year monthly domestic passenger vehicle sales. In December 2024 Mahindra posted a domestic passenger vehicle sales of 41,424 units.

The calendar year 2025 ended on a positive note, with Mahindra clocking its highest-ever volumes in both SUVs and LCVs (<3.5T) segments, a significant milestone for the company. In December, we achieved SUV sales of 50,946 units, a growth of 23% and LCV< 3.5T sales of 24,786 units, a growth of 34%. The total vehicle sales stand at 86,090 units, a 25% year-on-year growth.”
