River Indie Battery, Range and Performance
The River Indie is powered by a 4 kWh battery pack, which delivers a claimed Indian Driving Cycle (IDC) range of 163 km on a single charge. The electric scooter has a top speed of 90 kmph. One of its key highlights is its practicality. The Indie offers a combined storage capacity of 55 litres, making it suitable for riders who need additional space for carrying everyday items.
River Mobility has also introduced several updates to the electric scooter. These include a redesigned and lighter chassis, along with increased ground clearance of 177 mm. The scooter also gets hill-hold control, which is designed to help riders when starting on an incline.
Updated Display and Smartphone Connectivity
The River Indie features a new 6-inch display and improved smartphone app connectivity. Through the app, owners can monitor real-time charging status and access ride statistics. These updates aim to improve convenience and provide riders with more information about their scooter and its usage. The partnership could help River Mobility reach customers in additional markets while maintaining its focus on retail and after-sales support.
