VinFast VF 6, VF 7 Get New Colour Options; Two Shades Discontinued
The new palette includes the addition of Moonlight Ocean, raising the total to seven colours. The outgoing colours Crimson Red and Urban Mint have been replaced by Solar Red and Ivy Green, respectively.
VinFast VF 6, VF 7 Get New Colour Options; Two Shades Discontinued
VinFast India has refreshed the colour options for its VF 6 and VF 7 electric SUVs. The company has introduced three new shades across both models while discontinuing two existing colours. The update is limited to the exterior colour palette, with no changes to the SUVs’ powertrains, features or specifications.

VinFast has also replaced Crimson Red with the darker Solar Red, while Urban Mint has been replaced by Ivy Green. The new shades offer a deeper take on the red and green colours previously available on both models.
There are no mechanical or feature changes with this update, and both SUVs continue with their existing specifications.
VinFast VF 6: Specifications
The VinFast VF 6 continues to use a 59.6kWh battery pack. It is offered in different states of tune, with the lower variants producing 174bhp and the higher variants developing 201bhp.
The electric SUV has a claimed range of 468km. In India, the VF 6 competes with models such as the Mahindra BE 6, Hyundai Creta Electric, Maruti Suzuki e Vitara and Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella.
VinFast VF 7: Specifications
The larger VF 7 is available with the same 59.6kWh battery pack as the VF 6, along with a larger 70kWh battery option. It is offered in three broad variants and has a claimed range of up to 532km.
The VF 7 also stands out for its dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup. In its segment, the Tata Sierra EV is among the few other electric SUVs to offer a similar AWD configuration.

No Mechanical Changes
The latest update is purely cosmetic, with VinFast making changes only to the exterior colour palette. The VF 6 and VF 7 continue with their existing battery, motor and feature specifications.
