2024 Royal Enfield Classic 350 Launching Today: What To Expect

Royal Enfield a subsidiary of Eicher Motors is all set to Launch the 2024 Royal Enfield Classic 350 today. The Classic 350 is the most selling model in the brands portfolio followed by the Hunter 350. Royal Enfield recently launched the Guerrilla 450 last month on 17th July. The 2024 classic 350 is expected to have retain the same skin and bones as its the design that makes it classic 350 standalone from its other siblings, it will likely feature the same 349 cc single-cylinder J-series engine that powers the Bullet 350, Hunter 350, and Meteor 350. This engine produces 20.2 bhp at 6,100 rpm and 27 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm.

While the design may remain largely unchanged, the 2024 Classic 350 might offer new paint options. The bike is expected to be available in different variants, with some featuring single-channel ABS and others dual-channel ABS. Since the current model lacks LED lighting, the new version could include LED headlamps and turn indicators. An updated instrument cluster is also anticipated, which may push the starting price to around Rs 2.10 lakh.

The existing Classic 350 is built on a twin downtube spine frame, featuring 41 mm telescopic front forks with 130 mm travel and twin tube emulsion shock absorbers at the rear with adjustable preload and 90 mm travel. The bike comes with a 5-speed gearbox and a wet, multi-plate clutch. Braking is handled by a 300 mm front disc with ABS and either a 270 mm disc with ABS or a 153 mm drum at the rear, depending on the variant. It rides on 100/90-19 front and 120/80-18 rear tubed tires.

The Classic 350 has a wheelbase of 1390 mm, ground clearance of 170 mm, and weighs 195 kg with 90% fuel and oil. It also has a 13 L fuel tank. Current color options for dual-channel ABS variants include Chrome Red, Chrome Bronze, Gunmetal Grey, Dark Stealth Black, Halcyon Black, Halcyon Green, Signals Marsh Grey and Signals Desert Sand. Single-channel ABS variants are available in Redditch Grey, Redditch Red, Halcyon Black and Halcyon Green.

The Royal Enfield Classic 350 is priced between Rs 1,93,080 and Rs 2,24,755 (ex-showroom), depending on the variant and color. Its main competitors include the Honda CB350, Jawa 42 and Jawa 350.
