BSA Gold Star 650 Launched In India At Rs 2.99 Lakh

BSA Motorcycles made a significant comeback in India with the launch of the Gold Star 650 on this Independence day. This marks the return of the Birmingham Small Arms Company (BSA), a brand with deep historical roots, to the Indian market. The Gold Star 650 is priced at Rs. 2.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The BSA Gold Star 650 is powered by a 652cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 45.6 PS of power and 55 Nm of torque. The bike comes equipped with several premium components, including Brembo brakes with dual-channel ABS, aluminum Excel rims, and Pirelli tires.

Design-wise, the Gold Star 650 stays true to its classic British heritage while incorporating modern features like digital-analogue instrumentation. It also includes practical elements such as a 12V socket and a USB charging port, making it suitable for long rides. The bike's suspension is designed with rider comfort in mind, featuring adjustable rear shocks.

BSA has announced that the Gold Star 650 will be available in six color options, including a special Legacy Edition in Silver Sheen. The bike will be sold through select dealerships across India, with plans to establish a broader network of dealerships and service centers in the near future.
