5 Electric Cars Confirmed For Debut At Auto Expo 2025

All the automakers are gearing up for the upcoming Bharat Mobility Expo 2025, to showcase their Upcoming products. Among the highlights are the Tata Sierra EV, a revival of an iconic name, Hyundai Creta Electric, Maruti Suzuki’s e Vitara, MG’s high-performance Cyberster and Skoda’s feature-rich Elroq.

Indian automaker, Tata will revive a legend, the Tata Sierra which is expected to be showcased at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. The Tata Sierra is expected to boast an all-electric and ICE-powered drivetrains. The ICE version of Tata Sierra is expected to be powered by a Kryotec 2.0L turbocharged diesel engine producing 167.67 bhp and 350 Nm of torque. Additionally, the Tata Sierra might also receive a 1.5L Turbo Petrol engine.

The South Korean automaker, Hyundai is set to launch the electric version of its popular SUV, Creta. The Hyundai Creta Electric is available with 2 battery pack options: 42 kwh and 51.4 Kwh (Long Range). The 42 Kwh battery pack offers a driving range of 390 km on a single charge and the Long range 51.4 Kwh comes with 473 km of driving range on a single charge.

Maruti Suzuki announced the launch of the e Vitara in the Indian market at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The e Vitara will be introduced with 49 kWh and 61 kWh battery packs in 2WD and 4WD options. It is built on Suzuki’s EV-focused HEARTECH-e platform, the e Vitara features ALLGRIP-e all-wheel drive with independent axles, ensuring enhanced control and adaptability on diverse terrains.

MG Motor India has announced that it will introduce the Cyberster EV in January 2025. The English automaker shared that the Cyberster EV will boast a power output of 503 bhp and 725 Nm of torque and will be powered by two electric motors with a cooling system to offer performance even at high operating temperatures.

Skoda Auto has launched the all-new Elroq, in the European market starting at approximately £31,500 (Approx. Rs 34 Lakh), With pre-bookings already started in October. The Skoda Elroq offers three battery options and a range exceeding 560 km. The vehicle is built on the MEB platform, which Skoda has used in previous models like the Enyaq.
