Royal Enfield has updated its popular Continental GT 650 cafe racer with a handful of styling and convenience upgrades. The latest version retains the motorcycle’s classic design and 648cc parallel-twin engine, while adding new LED trafficators, a USB Type-C charging port and refreshed colour treatment. The updated Continental GT 650 will be available at Royal Enfield dealerships across India from August 14, 2026.
Key Highlights:

  • Motorcycle now features a USB Type-C fast charging port
  • Rocker Red variant gets blacked-out engine, exhaust and alloy wheels
  • 648cc parallel-twin engine continues to produce 47bhp and 52.3Nm
The Continental GT 650 continues to follow the classic cafe racer formula, but Royal Enfield has added a few updates to make the motorcycle more practical and visually sharper.
The instrument cowl is now finished in black, giving the front-end a more purposeful appearance. The motorcycle also gets new LED trafficators, which are designed to improve visibility while adding a modern touch to the overall styling.
Another useful addition is a USB Type-C fast charging port, allowing riders to charge compatible smartphones and other devices while on the move.

Rocker Red Variant Gets Blacked-Out Treatment

Royal Enfield has also given the Rocker Red colour option a new look. Along with the existing Apex Grey variant, the Rocker Red version now comes with a blacked-out engine, exhaust and cast alloy wheels.
The rest of the Continental GT 650's design remains familiar, including its sculpted fuel tank, low-set handlebars and committed riding position. The motorcycle continues to draw inspiration from cafe racers of the 1950s and 1960s.

648cc Parallel-Twin Engine Continues

There are no changes to the powertrain. The Continental GT 650 continues to use Royal Enfield's 648cc air/oil-cooled parallel-twin engine.
The engine produces 47bhp at 7,150 rpm and 52.3Nm of peak torque at 5,250 rpm. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox.
The motorcycle uses a steel tubular double-cradle frame developed with Harris Performance. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic front forks and gas-charged twin rear shock absorbers.
