BMW India has opened pre-orders for a special Nurburgring Edition range to celebrate 100 years of the iconic Nurburgring race track and the brand’s 21 victories at the Nurburgring 24 Hours. The limited-run models bring exclusive styling and performance-focused equipment to BMW’s M cars.

Pre-orders for the special edition models are now open through BMW India’s authorised dealerships. The range includes the M2 xDrive, M3 Competition xDrive, M4 Competition xDrive, M5 sedan and M5 Touring.
BMW Nurburgring Edition: What’s Special?
The Nurburgring Edition models get a distinctive Nurburgring Green exterior finish, paired with a Sapphire Black interior. The cabin features green contrast stitching, M carbon bucket seats, carbon-fibre elements and an M steering wheel with matching design details.
BMW has not revealed the exact production numbers for these models, but the company says the Nurburgring Edition will be highly exclusive.
BMW M2, M3, M4 and M5 Performance
The BMW M2 xDrive gets a 3.0-litre six-cylinder engine producing 473bhp and 600Nm. It can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 4 seconds.
The BMW M3 Competition xDrive uses a 3.0-litre inline-six engine that produces 523bhp and 650Nm. The sedan can complete the 0-100 kmph sprint in 3.5 seconds.
The BMW M4 Competition xDrive produces 386bhp and 540Nm from its powertrain and takes 4.4 seconds to reach 100 kmph.
The BMW M5 sedan is the most powerful model in the lineup apart from sharing its output with the M5 Touring. Its 4.4-litre V8 produces 717bhp and 1,000Nm, allowing it to accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 3.5 seconds.
The biggest highlight of the Nurburgring Edition range is the BMW M5 Touring. This marks the first time BMW is bringing the high-performance estate body style to India. The performance estate gets an 18.6 kWh battery pack and a 60-litre fuel tank, combining everyday practicality with M performance.
With the Nurburgring Edition models, BMW India is combining its motorsport heritage with its current M performance lineup. Prices and the exact number of units allocated for India are yet to be announced.
