BYD Sealion 7 Festive Edition Launched in India at Rs 50.60 Lakh; Limited to 150 Units

BYD India has launched the Sealion 7 Festive Edition at Rs 50.60 lakh (ex-showroom). The limited-edition electric SUV is based on the Sealion 7 Premium and gets a Tan and Black interior. The company will sell 150 units of the new edition in India as part of its festive season campaign.

The Sealion 7 Festive Edition retains the battery pack, performance figures, features and safety equipment of the standard Premium variant. The new interior colour combination is the primary change over the regular model.

The new edition gets a Tan and Black interior, which distinguishes it from the standard Sealion 7 Premium. The rest of the cabin equipment remains unchanged.

Features include a 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen, quilted Nappa leather seats, a panoramic glass roof with an electric sunshade and a heads-up display.

The electric SUV also comes with 11 airbags and has received a five-star safety rating from Euro NCAP.

The BYD Sealion 7 Festive Edition is powered by an 82.56 kWh Blade Battery. It uses the company's Cell-to-Body (CTB) technology and Intelligence Torque Adaption Control (iTAC) system.

The electric SUV produces 230kW of power and 380Nm of torque. BYD claims that it can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 6.7 seconds, while the claimed range stands at 567 km on a single charge.
