MG Windsor EV Indulge Edition Teased Ahead of India Launch: What to Expect?

MG Motor India has teased the Windsor EV Indulge Edition ahead of its official unveiling. The upcoming special edition is expected to get cosmetic updates, including a new olive-brown exterior colour. The company has not yet announced its launch date, pricing or the complete list of changes. The teaser comes as the MG Windsor EV completes two years in the Indian market. According to the company, the electric car has been chosen by more than 80,000 families since its launch.

The teaser offers a glimpse of the upcoming edition, but MG has not disclosed the complete details. The new exterior colour is expected to be one of the key changes. The Windsor EV Indulge Edition could also get unique badging, revised alloy wheel designs and additional exterior styling elements.

Interior changes are also expected, potentially including different upholstery and edition-specific detailing. However, MG has not confirmed these updates. The company is expected to reveal the complete list of changes at the official unveiling. The Indulge Edition could also be offered with a dedicated accessories package. Details about the accessories, features and variant availability are yet to be announced.

The special edition is expected to retain the existing battery and motor options available with the Windsor. MG has not announced any mechanical changes. The standard Windsor is offered with a battery pack of approximately 38kWh, while the Windsor Pro gets a larger 52.9kWh battery pack. The claimed driving range stands at 332km and 449km, respectively. Both versions use an electric motor producing 136PS and 200Nm of torque. The battery specifications, range and powertrain details for the Indulge Edition are yet to be confirmed by the company.

The standard MG Windsor comes with a 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which the company calls the GRANDVIEW Touch Display. It also gets Aero Lounge seats that can recline by up to 135 degrees.

The cabin layout focuses on passenger space and comfort, while the exterior combines a crossover-style profile with design elements associated with the company's Aero Glide design philosophy.

MG has not confirmed whether the Indulge Edition will receive additional equipment over the existing variants. More details about its interior and feature list are expected to be announced at the unveiling.

MG Motor India has not announced the launch date or price of the Windsor Indulge Edition. It is expected to be positioned at the top of the Windsor range and is likely to be introduced with a price tag of around Rs 16-17 lakh.
