Ducati unveiled several new motorcycles at EICMA 2025, including the fourth-generation Hypermotard V2, the Desmo450 EDS enduro model, the special-edition Panigale V2 MM93, the updated DesertX prototype and more. The lineup highlights Ducati’s continued focus on middleweight performance and off-road expansion.

At EICMA 2025 in Milan, Ducati introduced the Hypermotard V2 and its V2 SP variant, marking the fourth generation of the model. The motorcycle uses the company’s 890cc L-twin engine, producing 118.3 bhp at 10,750rpm and 94 Nm of torque at 8,250rpm paired with a 6-speed gearbox with a bi-directional quickshifter.. This is a 5.9 bhp bump over the previous version, although torque has dropped slightly by 2 Nm.
The new Hypermotard V2 is 13kg lighter than the outgoing model, while the SP version sheds 16kg. It now employs a monocoque chassis and a double-sided swingarm, replacing the earlier trellis frame setup. The seat height remains tall at 880mm, but a lower seat and suspension kit can reduce it by 30mm.

Also on display was the Ducati Desmo450 EDS, an off-road-focused motorcycle featuring a single-cylinder engine housed in a lightweight frame. The model is equipped with long-travel suspension, spoked wheels and knobby tyres suitable for dirt riding.
It includes a high-mounted exhaust, wide handlebars with handguards and a narrow seat designed for mobility on rough terrain. A bash plate protects the underside of the engine, and the bike’s red color scheme with “450 Enduro” markings indicates its off-road intent. The motorcycle was presented on a maintenance stand bearing the Ducati logo.

Ducati also revealed the Panigale V2 MM93, a limited series developed as a training motorcycle for Marc Márquez. A similar version, the FB63, was created for Francesco Bagnaia. Both bikes feature exclusive liveries inspired by the Ducati Lenovo Team riders’ MotoGP training machines and include racing-position handlebars, forged wheels and other track-oriented equipment.
These numbered editions are based on the Panigale V2 S platform and retain the 890cc V2 engine. The MM93 version’s design is based on the “Todo Rojo” color scheme from the 2024 Barcelona post-season test.

Ducati’s display also featured the latest version of the DesertX, shown in what appears to be prototype form. The motorcycle retains its rally-inspired fairing, twin LED headlights and tall windscreen. It rides on spoked wheels with off-road tyres and features long-travel suspension for adventure and dirt use.
The bike includes a single-piece seat, handguards, a metal bash plate and a high-mounted exhaust for improved ground clearance and water-wading capability. The camouflage bodywork suggests this is a pre-production test model.
