Hero MotoCorp Sales Down 6.4 percent in October 2025

Hero MotoCorp recorded wholesale dispatches of 6,35,808 units in October 2025, showing a 6.4% decline compared to the same month last year. While motorcycle volumes fell, scooter sales rose by 50%, and exports increased by 42.8%. The company’s electric brand VIDA also maintained steady growth momentum.

Hero MotoCorp reported total wholesale dispatches for October 2025 stood at 6,35,808 units reflecting a Year-on-Year (Y-o-Y) decline of 6.4% when compared to 6,79,091 units in October 2024. Of this total, 6,04,829 units were sold in the domestic market reflecting a Y-o-Y decline of 8% when compared to 6,57,403 units sold in October 2024. Meanwhile, exports reached 30,979 units in October 2025 reflecting a Y-o-Y increase of 42.8% when compared to 21,688 units shipped in October 2024

In the Motorcycles segment, Hero MotoCorp sold 5,70,753 units in October 2025 reflecting a Y-o-Y decline of 10.2% when compared to 6,35,787 units sold in October 2024.

Scooter dispatches reached 65,055 units in October 2025 reflecting a Y-o-Y increase of 50.2% when compared to 43,304 units sold in October 2024.

Year-to-Date (YTD) Dispatch

For the financial year up to October 2025 (April–October FY26), Hero MotoCorp’s cumulative dispatches reached 36,93,580 units, a 1.1% decline from 37,33,931 units in the same period last year. Domestic YTD dispatches fell by 3.1%, from 35,98,069 units in FY25 to 34,86,604 units in FY26. Exports, however, recorded a 52.3% increase, rising from 1,35,862 units in FY25 to 2,06,976 units this year.

Electric Vehicle Sales Through VIDA

Hero MotoCorp's EV arm, VIDA, registered approximately 16,000 Vahan entries in October 2025, reflecting a month-on-month increase of 24% and a 117% Y-o-Y increase compared to October 2024.

International Market Expansion

Hero MotoCorp strengthened its global business in October 2025, expanding into Italy, Spain, the UK and France with Euro5+ compliant models such as the Hunk 440 and Xpulse 200.
