The Indian division of the Japanese automaker Kawasaki has announced a year-end discount of Rs 25,000 on the Versys-X 300, its entry-level adventure-touring motorcycle. The offer applies to the MY2025 version and is valid until December 31, 2025, or until available stocks are exhausted.
The discount is offered in the form of a voucher that can be redeemed against the motorcycle’s ex-showroom price at the time of purchase. With this benefit, the effective ex-showroom price of the Versys-X 300 comes down to Rs 3.24 lakh from Rs 3.49 lakh. Insurance and registration charges, however, will continue to be calculated on the original ex-showroom price.
Kawasaki Versys-X 300: Engine
The Kawasaki Versys-X 300 is powered by a 296cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine derived from the Ninja 300. This powertrain is OBD-2B compliant and produces close to 39bhp and 26Nm of torque, depending on certification figures. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox and comes equipped with an assist and slipper clutch as standard. In the Indian market, the Versys-X 300 remains the only twin-cylinder motorcycle in the entry-level adventure-touring segment.
Kawasaki Versys-X 300: Design
The Kawasaki Versys-X 300 is built around a steel backbone frame and rides on a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheel setup with tube-type tyres. Suspension duties are handled by a 41 mm telescopic fork at the front with 130 mm of travel, while the rear uses a monoshock offering 148 mm of travel. Braking hardware consists of a single disc at both ends, supported by dual-channel ABS.
In terms of dimensions, the Versys-X 300 features a 17-litre fuel tank, 180 mm of ground clearance, an 815 mm seat height and a kerb weight of 175 kg.
For 2025, the Versys-X 300 is available in two colour options: Candy Lime Green with Metallic Flat Spark Black, and Metallic Ocean Blue with Pearl Robotic White.
Kawasaki Versys-X 300: Features
The feature list of the Versys-X 300 includes a semi-digital instrument cluster with a gear position indicator and standard dual-channel ABS and more.
The limited-period discount appears to be aimed at clearing existing inventory as the calendar year draws to a close, making the Versys-X 300 more accessible for buyers considering an entry point into the adventure-touring segment.
