Silver Colour Scheme

The newly introduced silver shade features a muted finish with dark grey KTM branding on the tank extensions. Orange elements have been reduced and are limited to small accents near the edges of the tank shrouds. This colour option is similar in approach to the Silver Metallic finish that was available on the earlier-generation Duke 250.

Revised Ebony Black Colour

The second option is a revised Ebony Black scheme. While the base colour remains the same as the version sold in India, the international model now features orange detailing around the headlamp area. This change alters only the front visual treatment, with the rest of the motorcycle retaining the existing colour layout.

Mechanical Specifications

There are no mechanical changes to the 250 Duke. It continues to be powered by a 249.7cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces around 30.5bhp and 25Nm of torque paired with a six-speed gearbox. The motorcycle is built on a steel trellis frame and uses WP Apex suspension at both ends. Braking duties are handled by a 320 mm front disc and a 240 mm rear disc with Bybre callipers.

India Launch Expectation

KTM has not confirmed an India launch timeline for the new colour options. However, given KTM’s usual update cycle, the revised colour schemes are expected to reach the Indian market soon. No pricing changes are expected if the update is limited to paint options.

KTM RC 160 India Launch

Separately, KTM recently expanded its fully-faired lineup in India with the launch of the RC 160 at an ex-showroom price tag of Rs 1.85 lakh. The motorcycle is positioned below the RC 200 and RC 390 and serves as the new entry point into the RC range. It shares its design and chassis layout with the larger RC models and is equipped with inverted front forks, a rear monoshock, disc brakes at both ends and dual-channel ABS.
