Mahindra BE6 Based Electric SUV to Launch on August 14, What Can It Be?
Mahindra is set to unveil an electric SUV, the BE Rall E, on August 14, expanding its electric vehicle lineup alongside the BE 6 and XEV 9e. The new SUV is anticipated to share its platform with the BE 6 and will resemble the BE Rall E Concept shown earlier this year. New Mahindra EV: What can it be?
The design and silhouette of the upcoming electric vehicle from Mahindra looks similar to the BE Rall E Concept which was first unveiled in 2023 at the Mahindra EV Fashion Festival. Interestingly, the production-ready test mule has been spotted testing.
The Mahindra BE Rall E is expected to borrow the battery pack from the BE6 including a 59-kWH and a 79-kWH battery pack. The Mahindra BE 6 gets a rear wheel drive single electric motor setup which produces 227.9 bhp and 380 Nm of torque in the 59-kWH battery pack option and 281.6 bhp and 380 Nm of torque in the 79-kWH battery pack option.
The BE Rall E is expected to be equipped with a dual electric motor setup in order to stay true to its name and comply with its expected off-road capabilities. A few highlights can be seen in the teaser which match the BE Rall E appearances which include the bash plate as well as similar DRL finishes and front design.
The interior is expected to be similar to the Mahindra BE 6 including the two-spoke backlight steering wheel and INGLO platform, along with a few subtle changes to match its rugged appearance on the interior.
