Mahindra Vision S: Exterior Details
The Vision S continues to be seen under heavy camouflage, but several design elements are now visible. The front-end gets a grille with honeycomb detailing, positioned behind three horizontal inserts on each slat. The SUV also appears to feature projector headlamps, fog lights, a wide air dam and a front camera.
A sensor mounted at the centre of the top section of the windshield can also be seen. This could be linked to the SUV’s driver assistance and safety systems, although Mahindra is yet to confirm its exact purpose.
At the rear, the test vehicle features a shark-fin antenna, temporary taillights and rear parking sensors. It also gets a dual-tone spare alloy wheel with an integrated reverse parking camera, a high-mounted stop lamp, rear wiper and washer, and a rear door handle positioned on the left side of the tailgate.
Mahindra Vision S: Interior and Features
The cabin of the upcoming Mahindra Vision S is expected to follow a modern layout. The SUV could feature a two-spoke steering wheel, vertically positioned AC vents and automatic climate control.
The interior is likely to get an all-black theme with new seat upholstery. Other expected features include a panoramic sunroof, 60:40 split-folding rear seats and adjustable headrests for all five occupants.
Mahindra Vision S: Expected Powertrain
Mahindra has not revealed the technical specifications of the Vision S yet. However, the compact SUV is expected to be offered with both internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric powertrain options.
More details are likely to emerge at Mahindra’s upcoming Independence Day event, where the company is also expected to showcase an updated version of the BE6, the facelifted Thar three-door and a production-ready version of the BE.07.
