It also incorporates a low center of gravity for improved stability and handling. Additionally, the platform features high-strength materials and reinforced structures to enhance safety, meeting stringent safety standards and ensuring better crash performance.
The INGLO platform supports multiple battery options ranging from 59 kWh to 79 kWh, utilizing LFP battery chemistry. It features advanced cell-to-pack technology, enabling rapid charging from 20% to 80% in just 20 minutes with a 175 kW DC charger. This ensures that the vehicles can quickly regain power during long journeys, enhancing their usability.
The Mahindra XEV 9S is anticipated to include a variety of advanced features such as a fully digital instrument cluster, touchscreen infotainment systems, and a panoramic sunroof. Additionally, it may offer connected car technology with smartphone integration, active and passive ADAS features, and multiple airbags for enhanced safety.
The XEV 9S is expected to compete with models like the Tata Harrier EV and BYD Atto 3. It is positioned above the XEV 9e in Mahindra's lineup, offering additional seating capacity and potentially superior specifications, such as a higher power output and longer range, making it a strong contender in the growing electric SUV market.
The design of the XEV 9S is likely to carry forward elements from the XEV 7e prototype, featuring connected LED DRLs, dual-pod LED headlamps, and a digital dashboard with a three-screen layout. These design cues will not only enhance its aesthetic appeal but also improve functionality and user experience inside the cabin.
