Mahindra XEV 9S Six-Seater: What’s New?
The new captain seat configuration is available with the Pack Two Above, Pack Three and Pack Three Above variants. These versions get two individual seats in the second row, separated by a centre console with integrated armrests and cupholders.
The base Pack Two and entry-level versions continue to feature the conventional seven-seat layout with a second-row bench. This gives buyers the option to choose between higher seating capacity and a more premium cabin experience.
Mahindra XEV 9S: Interior and Features
The Mahindra XEV 9S comes equipped with a range of premium features, including a panoramic glass roof, large touchscreen infotainment system and a digital instrument cluster. The SUV also gets powered and ventilated front seats, multi-zone climate control, ambient lighting and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
For rear passengers, the six-seater version gets dedicated AC vents and USB charging ports. The individual captain seats are designed to offer greater comfort, particularly on longer journeys.
Mahindra XEV 9S: Battery and Range
The XEV 9S is offered with two battery pack options. The standard version uses a 59kWh battery pack that produces 228bhp and 380Nm of torque. It has a claimed range of 521km on a single charge.
The higher-spec version gets a larger 79kWh battery pack, producing 281bhp and 380Nm. It offers a claimed range of 679km.
Both battery options support DC fast charging and are based on Mahindra’s INGLO electric vehicle platform.
