Mahindra XUV 3XO CNG Launched in India: Top 5 Highlights
Mahindra has expanded the
XUV 3XO lineup with the launch of the new CNG version, priced from Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Called the XUV 3XO ZNG, the new model comes with twin CNG cylinders, a claimed mileage of 24.70 km/kg and a turbo-petrol engine. It rivals the Tata Nexon CNG and Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG in the Indian market.
The
Mahindra XUV 3XO CNG is available in four variants, with prices going up to Rs 12.27 lakh (ex-showroom). Here are the top five highlights of the new CNG SUV.

2. Turbo-Petrol Engine and Claimed Mileage
The Mahindra XUV 3XO CNG uses a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine with a TCMPFi system. It produces 110 bhp and 200 Nm of torque. Mahindra claims a fuel efficiency of 24.70 km/kg for the CNG version.
The SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in a claimed 11.8 seconds. Its turbocharged engine sets it apart from several CNG-powered rivals that use naturally aspirated petrol engines.
3. Twin CNG Cylinders and Exterior Design
One of the key highlights of the Mahindra XUV 3XO CNG is its twin-cylinder setup. The cylinders are positioned in the boot, with the arrangement aimed at making better use of the available luggage space than a conventional single-cylinder layout.
The SUV retains the exterior design of the petrol-powered XUV 3XO. The main visual difference is the ZNG badging on the tailgate, which identifies it as the CNG version.
4. Features Include Panoramic Sunroof and 360-Degree Camera
The Mahindra XUV 3XO CNG comes with several features, including a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. It also gets a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and an engine start-stop button.
Other features include three steering modes (Normal, Comfort and Sports), leatherette seats, Dolby Atmos, connected LED taillights, front and rear armrests, a rear wiper and height-adjustable front seat belts.
5. Safety Features of the Mahindra XUV 3XO CNG
The new XUV 3XO CNG gets six airbags as standard, along with disc brakes on all four wheels. Other safety features include ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors, three-point seat belts for all occupants, a seat-belt reminder system and a speed alert system.
With its feature list, turbo-petrol engine and twin-cylinder CNG setup, the XUV 3XO ZNG expands Mahindra's options for buyers looking for a compact SUV with lower running costs.
