The latest teaser confirms the addition of a 540-degree camera system. Along with a surround view, the setup uses the front camera to display the road surface beneath the vehicle, aiding low-speed manoeuvres. A four-corner display mode allows drivers to view feeds from each corner of the SUV while navigating tight spaces.
Inside, Mahindra has confirmed a triple-screen dashboard layout, introduced for the first time on an internal combustion model from the brand. The layout includes a digital instrument cluster, a central infotainment screen and a dedicated front passenger display. The system runs on the updated Adrenox software and supports an in-car theatre mode along with BYOD connectivity. The teaser also shows updated graphics for the Level 2 ADAS interface.
The interior receives further revisions in the form of a refreshed dashboard theme, new upholstery, updated door trims and a panoramic sunroof. The version shown appears to be the AX7L variant, which is expected to feature powered Boss Mode seating, revised air vents, a new centre console and electrically adjustable ORVMs. Exterior changes include revised LED lighting elements, updated bumpers, new alloy wheel designs, fresh colour options and XUV 7XO badging on the bonnet and tailgate.
On the mechanical front, the XUV 7XO is expected to continue with the existing engine options. These include the 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and the 2.2-litre diesel engines, paired with manual and automatic transmissions. An all-wheel-drive option is likely to be offered on select diesel variants.
Once launched, the Mahindra XUV 7XO will compete with models such as the Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus, Hyundai Alcazar and others.
