2025 Mahindra Thar: Engine
The 2025 Mahindra Thar is offered with three engine options. The 2.0L mStallion turbo-petrol engine produces 150 bhp and up to 320 Nm of torque. The 1.5LmHawk diesel engine (D117) delivers 116.9 bhp and 300 Nm of torque, while the 2.2L mHawk diesel produces 130 bhp and 300 Nm of torque. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic. Automatic variants also feature a dead pedal.
2025 Mahindra Thar: Design
In terms of design, Mahindra Thar Facelift continues to carry its unmistakable rugged identity, now made bolder with a distinct front grille, iconic round headlamps with LED DRLs and dual-tone bumpers. New 18-inch alloy wheels and an updated color palette that includes Galaxy Grey, Stealth Black, Battleship Grey, Tango Red, Deep Forest and Everest White add to its appeal.
2025 Mahindra Thar: Features
On the inside, the Thar Facelift cabin gets an all-new black-themed dashboard, a new steering wheel and enhanced practicality with features like rear AC vents, sliding armrest with storage, one-touch power windows and an A-pillar entry assist handle.
The new Thar is now smarter than ever, it gets a 10.2-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an adventure statistics Gen II display, rearview camera and Tyre Direction Monitoring System (TDMS). Other additions include cruise control, rear wiper with washer, and electric ORVM adjustment.
