MG Windsor EV Inspire Edition Launched In India At Rs 16.99 Lakh, Limited To 300 Units

Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) today took the wraps off the MG Windsor EV Inspire Edition at his residence in India. Gadkari has been proactively promoting clean mobility solutions in the country. Addressing the gathering at the unveiling he stated, “I have always believed that clean mobility is not only essential for our environment, but also an opportunity for India to lead the world in sustainable innovation. It is heartening to see brands like JSW MG Motor India embrace this vision with such commitment. The Windsor Inspire Edition is a symbol of how inspiration can translate into action — and how every step forward in EV adoption brings us closer to a greener tomorrow.”

The Windsor EV Inspire Edition has been launched at Rs 16.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and at Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom with BaaS). Sharing this update the company revealed that this special edition model will be limited to 300 units. Booking for the same are now open and deliveries are scheduled to commence from October 15th 2025.

The Windsor EV Inspire Edition sports a dual-tone Pearl White with Starry Black exteriors. It also gets 18-inch all-black alloy wheels, rose gold cladding accents, black ORVMs, Inspire and Morris Garages badging in rose gold and more. On the inside it gets Sangria Red and Black leather interiors with gold highlights in the cabin, the headrests sport Inspire insignia along with black out centre console and armrest.

MG Windsor EV Inspire Edition: Battery, Power, Range & Charging

The Windsor EV Inspire Edition is offered with a 38 kW battery pack and it generates a peak power output of up to 134.14 bhp and 200 Nm of torque. It returns a claimed range of up to 332 km. It supports DC fast charging up to 45 kW using which it can charge from 20 to 80 percent in just 45 minutes.
