Nissan Gravite, Magnite Prices to Increase From October 1: Here’s What We Know

Nissan Gravite, Magnite Prices to Increase From October 1: Here’s What We Know
Nissan India has started hinting at a possible price revision for two of its most affordable models, the
Gravite and
Magnite . The company’s official website currently carries a “Buy before price hike on October 1st” message for both models, suggesting that their prices could increase from October 1. While Nissan has not yet announced the quantum of the expected price hike.
Nissan Gravite, Magnite: Current Price
The
Nissan Gravite is currently priced from Rs 5.73 lakh to Rs 9.08 lakh (ex-showroom), while the Magnite starts at Rs 5.68 lakh and goes up to Rs 8.72 lakh (ex-showroom).
Nissan Gravite: Features and Engine
The Nissan Gravite gets a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 72 PS and 96 Nm. The engine is available with a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 5-speed AMT, which Nissan calls EZ-Shift.
One of the key highlights of the Gravite is its flexible seating layout. The third-row seats can be removed, allowing the boot space to increase to 625 litres in the five-seater configuration. In the seven-seat layout, the luggage capacity stands at 84 litres.
Feature highlights include a 20.32-cm touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, rain-sensing wipers and front and rear parking sensors. Higher variants also get LED headlamps, LED tail lamps, a push-button start and a 360-degree camera.
The Gravite also comes with six airbags, ESC, traction control, hill-start assist, ABS with EBD and other safety features as standard. Nissan says the MPV gets more than 30 standard safety features.
Nissan Magnite: Features and Engine Options
The Magnite is offered with a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 72 PS and 96 Nm. Buyers can choose between a 5-speed manual and AMT. Nissan also offers a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 100 PS, paired with a 5-speed manual or CVT, depending on the variant.
The Magnite gets features such as a touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, push-button start, 360-degree camera and connected features on higher variants. It also gets six airbags and electronic stability control.
Nissan has also introduced a government-approved retrofit CNG kit for the Magnite, while the Gravite is available with a twin-cylinder CNG retrofit kit that retains its seven-seat layout. For now, Nissan has not disclosed how much the Gravite and Magnite prices could increase. The company’s website, however, clearly asks customers to “buy before price hike on October 1st”.
