Norton Manx, Atlas GT India Launch Confirmed for 2026

Sudarshan Venu, the Chairman of TVS Motor Company in his address at the Annual General Meeting held today confirmed that Norton Motorcycles will launch the Manx and Atlas GT in India in 2026. He also confirmed that both these motorcycles will launch in markets like the UK, France, Italy, Spain and USA in 2026.
Norton is a British legacy two-wheeler brand which is owned by TVS. Both these motorcycles are expected to be positioned in the middleweight and premium performance categories in the domestic market. While the company is yet to announce launch timelines or pricing, the confirmation provides a clearer picture of the motorcycles that will spearhead Norton's India portfolio.

Norton Atlas GT: What to Expect?

The Norton Atlas GT is built around a newly developed 585cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine. The engine produces 69bhp and 58Nm of torque; this engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
The Atlas GT gets 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends, giving it a road-biased stance compared to the standard Atlas. Suspension duties are handled by fully adjustable KYB upside-down (USD) front forks and a monoshock at the rear. Braking duties are carried out by dual front disc brakes and a single rear disc supported by dual-channel ABS.
In terms of electronics, the Atlas GT comes equipped with a Bosch six-axis IMU, enabling features such as cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control and lean-sensitive rider aids. It also gets five riding modes, cruise control, an 8-inch TFT instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity and over-the-air software update capability.

Norton Manx: What to Expect?

The Manx revives one of Norton's most recognisable motorcycle names and is expected to sit at the top of the brand's portfolio. Inspired by Norton's racing heritage, the motorcycle adopts a café racer-inspired design with a sculpted fuel tank, single-seat layout, clip-on handlebars and a minimalist tail section.
While Norton is yet to reveal complete technical specifications of the production-spec Manx, it is expected to feature premium cycle parts, advanced electronics and a high-performance powertrain in line with the brand's positioning.
