Porsche Cayenne Electric India Launch Tomorrow: What to Expect?
The Porsche Cayenne Electric is all set to make its India debut tomorrow, September 30, bringing an all-electric version of Porsche's popular luxury SUV to the market. Prices have already been announced, starting at Rs 1.76 crore for the standard model and going up to Rs 2.25 crore for the Cayenne Turbo. The electric SUV will be sold alongside the existing internal combustion engine (ICE) versions of the Cayenne.

Porsche Cayenne Electric: Design and Features
The Cayenne Electric retains Porsche's familiar design language but gets several changes to distinguish it from the ICE models. The SUV features Porsche's signature LED headlights, large 21-inch wheels and a full-width light bar with the Porsche logo placed in the centre.
It is also larger than its ICE counterpart in terms of overall dimensions. Inside the cabin, the electric Cayenne gets a digital-heavy dashboard with dual displays, along with features such as mood modes, a digital key and multi-zone climate control.
Porsche Cayenne Electric: Power and Performance
Performance is expected to be one of the biggest highlights of the new electric SUV. The standard Cayenne Electric produces 402bhp, while the Turbo version gets a more powerful 435bhp setup. Both versions use an all-wheel-drive system.
The Turbo can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds, while the standard model takes 4.8 seconds. Torque output stands at 835Nm for the standard version and goes up to 1,500Nm for the Turbo.
Porsche also offers a temporary 130kW boost for up to 10 seconds. The SUV can reportedly deliver up to 600kW of recuperative power through its braking system.
Porsche Cayenne Electric: Range
The standard Cayenne Electric has a claimed range of 642km, while the Turbo version is rated to cover up to 623km on a single charge.
With its combination of performance, range, technology and Porsche's luxury positioning, the Cayenne Electric will sit at the top end of India's electric SUV market. Deliveries are expected to begin soon after the India launch.
