River Indie Gets Year-End Purchase Offers with Benefits up to Rs 22,500

The updated River Indie, known as the SUV of scooters, now features a single-speed gearbox with chain drive for increased durability and reduced maintenance costs. It offers three riding modes—Eco, Ride, and Rush, with a top speed of 90 km/h in Rush mode. Additionally, it retains 55 liters of lockable storage and has an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance, enhancing its practicality and safety.

River Mobility has shown impressive growth, crossing Rs 100 crore in revenue and achieving 1,000 monthly sales of its Indie model within just two years of operation. This performance positions River as a strong contender in the Indian electric scooter market, especially as many manufacturers are still establishing their presence and market share.

River Mobility has introduced an extended warranty program that covers the battery and motor for up to 8 years or 80,000 kilometers. This plan allows existing owners to upgrade from a 5-year warranty, reflecting the company's confidence in the durability of its products. This initiative aims to enhance customer trust and long-term satisfaction.

River Mobility plans to expand its presence significantly by aiming to operate 25 stores across India by March 2025. The company has recently opened stores in Coimbatore and has plans to enter more markets like Vellore and Erode. Their strategy includes a mix of company-owned and dealership-operated outlets, enhancing accessibility for customers.

The River Indie offers competitive performance with a top speed of 90 km/h and a range of 110 km in Eco mode on a single charge. Its acceleration from 0 to 40 km/h in just 3.7 seconds is notable, making it a strong performer in the electric scooter segment. This performance is complemented by features such as adaptive regenerative braking and a robust battery.
