Tata Aeris New Teaser Out: What We Know So Far
Tata Motors is set to launch the Aeris, a sub-4m sedan aimed at replacing the Tigor. The company recently shared a teaser showcasing elements like the sedan's headlights, tail-lights, and new alloy wheels.

Tata Aeris New Teaser Out: What We Know So Far
Tata Motors is preparing to introduce the Aeris, a new sub-4m sedan that is expected to replace the Tigor in the company’s line-up. Ahead of its launch, Tata has released a new teaser offering a closer look at some of the exterior elements of the upcoming sedan.

The teaser gives a clear look at both the front and rear lighting modules. The headlight setup appears to be similar to the one seen on the Tiago. At the rear, the Aeris gets additional lighting elements, although the tail-lights are not connected by a full-width light bar.

The teaser also shows blacked-out alloy wheels with a revised design compared to the outgoing model. Based on the patent images and earlier renders, the Aeris could also feature a cleaner bumper design without the chunky black cladding seen on the Tiago.
Tata Aeris: Engine and Gearbox
Mechanically, the new sedan is expected to continue with the same powertrain options as the Tiago. The petrol version will use a 1.2-litre engine producing 84bhp and 113Nm, paired with either a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT gearbox.
The CNG version is expected to produce 72bhp and 96.5Nm. It could also be offered with both 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT transmissions.

Tata Aeris: Expected Variants and Interior
Since the Aeris will sit above the Tiago in Tata's portfolio, the sedan could get a higher variant hierarchy. While the Tiago range currently tops out at the Creative trim, the Aeris is expected to extend up to the Accomplished variant.
Inside, the sedan could also get a grey-themed cabin, although Tata has not revealed the interior yet. More details are expected to emerge closer to the launch.
