Tata Harrier Variants Rejigged, New Lineup Explained: Smart, Pure X, Adventure X and More

Indian automaker, Tata first showcased the Harrier as a concept at the 2018 Auto Expo and came to life in 2019. The five-seater SUV was powered by a 2.0L turbocharged Multijet diesel engine producing 167.67 bhp and 350 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission with an alternative of a 6-speed automatic transmission. The Tata Harrier was updated in 2023 and has recently undergone a variant rejig. Here’s the latest variant lineup and their prices:

The Smart variant of the Tata Harrier is the base variant of the SUV with a starting price of Rs 14.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This variant consists of features including 17-inch alloy wheels, automatic climate control, 7-inch digital instrument cluster, LED projector headlamps, Advanced electronic stability program (ESP) with 16 functionalities, six airbags, front LED DRLs and LED taillamps, among others.

The Pure X variant of the Tata Harrier is priced at Rs 17.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This variant is equipped with features including voice-assisted panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, a 10.24-inch HD digital infotainment system, a 10.24-inch digital instrument cluster, cruise control, push button start, Wireless Android Auto and Apple Car Play, Remote central locking and electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs, among others.

The Adventure X variant of the Tata Harrier is priced at Rs 18.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The variant is equipped with features including 6-way powered driver seat, leatherette interiors, 10.24 -inch digital infotainment system and digital instrument cluster, trail responses including normal, rough and wet, trail sense auto headlamps, multiple drive modes including city, sports and eco, aqua sense wipers and rear defogger, among others.

The Tata Harrier Adventure X+ variant has a starting ex-showroom price of Rs 19.34 lakh. It is equipped with features including Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), trail hold electronic park brake with auto hold, advanced electronic stability program with driver doze-off alert, 6-way powered electric driver seat, leatherette interiors, trail sense auto headlamps, trail sense modes including normal, rough and wet, 17-inch alloy wheels, multiple drive modes including city, sports and eco, and rear defogger, among others.

The Fearless X variant of the Tata Harrier is priced at Rs 22.34 lakh (ex-showroom). The Tata Harrier Fearless X is equipped with features including a 12.2-inch digital touchscreen infotainment system, 9 JBL speakers with subwoofers, 18-inch alloy wheels, ventilated front row seats, voice-assisted dual zone fully automatic climate control, winged comfort head rests on second row, second row roll-up sun blinds, front and rear connected lamps, sequential turn indicators, mood lighting and tyre pressure monitoring system, among others.

The Tata Harrier Fearless X+ variant is the top model of the SUV’s lineup, priced at Rs 24.44 lakh (ex-showroom). The top model consists of features including 10-speaker system with subwoofer from JBL, gesture controlled powered tailgate, Alexa built-in, Harman AudioworkX with 13 JBL audio modes, 7 airbags, connected vehicle technology, air purifier and welcome and goodbye animation, among others.
